What are the benefits of using a professional vs. DIY?

DIY kits will advertise a clean and dry substrate that will stick well, but not for long. Homeowners usually don’t have the right equipment to grind the floor properly creating an issue with proper bonding and moisture issues. Is there a drying period or down time for epoxy floors?
The standard drying time is 24 hours for walking traffic and 48-72 hours for wheeled traffic. Urethane topcoats typically go on top of metallic floors and generally take longer to cure.
How long does epoxy floors take?
It all depends on the size of the project and the system that is being laid down. Time frame for a typical garage floor is 2 days.
